MOVING SALE!

It's time to let these go. All of these are made with the same quality and attention to detail as the production version. They may have a couple small differences, tweaks, or cosmetic changes (specifics below), but what a great way to get a handmade top quality amp for amazing prices!

Pulsar Reverb Prototype

This is almost exactly the same as the now discontinued production version of the Pulsar with 2 differences:

1) The cabinet was a prototype design where the baffle is glued into the cabinet, but only at 4 points so that it mimics the resonance of a floating baffle, but also giving the cab more structural rigidity. It sounds different. Not better or worse, just different.

2) The reverb is a transformer-less design. It's different than typical "Fender" style reverbs - it sits more behind the notes, very similar to studio and room reverb.

(Zen) Quasar Head Prototype

This amp was the precursor to the current Quantum Zen. It shares 70% of the same DNA, but with 6V6 output tubes instead! Goes from sweet fat cleans with a tad more chime, to thumping rock with the turn of the volume knob.

Polaris Prototype

This one is almost the same as the current Polaris but with 3 differences:

1) Classic Tone transformers (current ones use custom Soursound)

2) No choke, so it is a little "softer" in feel and low end

3) 15 inch speaker. Big. Just big sounding.

Also note: This one is discounted quite heavily because there was a mistake in the panel cutout - it wasn't deep enough, so the back panel protrudes slightly to compensate. If this doesn't bother you, this is a great way to get such a killer amp for cheap!

Quantum Zen Prototype

The circuit on this one is pretty much identical to the current production model with only one difference - instead of a 2-way voicing switch, this one has a 3-way. The rest is cosmetic: 1) no piping; 2) the chassis was made in-house and has a cherry wood faceplate.
